HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Suzy Preston and I....isn't she just too cute?! I know it's a bad pic of me, but I am secure in myself. :) New Years Eve John and I went to a party at my Pastor's house and had a great time. We got to hang with Suzy and Matt (from The Biggest Loser, for those of you who don't know). I just love Suzy and am enjoying getting to know the new her! That was the second time I met Matt, but the first for my husband, they played some poker (not for money)..too bad, we were trying to get Matt to buy in with $250,000! :)
It was a very fun New Years party, lots of great friends and wonderful food! A friend took some more pictures, when she e-mails them to me, I'll post them.
John had just got home that day from being a drill sergeant at an academy in Yakima for almost 6 days. I missed him SOOOOOO much! So, we skipped out of the party a little early, and went to a movie. We just wanted to be alone, it was really nice. We rung in the New Year during the movie! :) We had a great time, I am so happy to have him home.

My fellow blogger and very dear friend (since Junior High!), Sabrina. This was taken during her visit here for Christmas. It was SO nice to see her and her precious family! Love you Sis!

On another note, last night we took Josiah to see Narnia (his 2nd time, our first). We LOVED it. Those of you who know C.S. Lewis know that this story is really the story of Christ (Aslan). It was very emotional to me. I don't want to give anything away if you haven't seen it. But, I totally felt the presence of God during that movie. I don't cry often in movie theatres, but I had tears streaming down my face. There was a part where I just wanted to have a worship service right there in the movie theatre! :) All I can say is, go see this movie!
