HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN!!
My dear friend, my "other mother", one of my mentors, AND my worship pastor turned 50 on Saturday!! WooHoo! Why the silly hats? The party had a hat theme because Karen is a woman who wears MANY hats in life. She is a wife, mother of 3 boys, sister, daughter, friend, worship pastor, elder in the church (along with her man), accomplished singer (the girl can sing!!), beauty queen, hunter (that's right, I said hunter!)...and much more. I love you Karen. I cherish our friendship, and I am honored to walk beside you in ministry and in life. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
My Pastors. I love these guys, they are awesome. They encourage me so much, they see the best in me and draw it out of me. They continually speak into my life, and have blessed me more than they'll ever know. Steve doesn't have his "hat" on in this picture...he wore one of those metal head massagers that looks like a torture device. Too funny!
Michelle. How cute is she in her little hat! She is another inspiration to me. A beautiful wife and mother, and yet a powerful woman of God. She is one of our worship leaders, and also has a beautiful voice.
John and I. I wish you could see his "hat". He cracked me up! It's a HUGE party hat...kinda like a "dunce hat". I love my sweetie, he always makes me smile.
On a totally seperate note....any kitty experts out there? My kitty is "mostly" litter box trained...how do I get her FULLY litter box trained? Today she pooped in my plant! :) She has about 1 accident every 1-2 days....any tips?

I have had MANY cats in my life & I would say that when you are home to continually put her in her box over & over. That way she gets used to the feel of her litter & the idea. Also they have this spray stuff at Pet stores that you can spray on the litter that makes them want to do their business there. Litter training cats is hard & takes a few accidents. If you have a pee accident get it out ASAP-- I use Natures Miracle, its the best! Good luck & great pictures!!

What great pictures! My cats have always been great with the litter box, however I have heard that if you sprinkle something in your plants that smells bad to them (like pepper) they won't use it for a bathroom. Maybe you could check with your vet, I don't want to tell you something that would end up hurting her, but I'm sure I have heard that from other people.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! And how fun, kittens are so cute. We had two and are now down to one. Ichi is now an outside cat though(sad). It just takes time. Cats are very clean, she will get the hang of it. take care

Not sure why your kitty is not doing it all the time. Sometimes they can be picky and will not go in the litter box if it is even just a little dirty.

We ended up training our cats to use the cat door and have no more litter box. Yippee! But the litter box came first.

My parents cat went in the plants as well until they took the plants away and it learned to only go in the litter box. Once that happened the plants were put back.

Looks fun! I agree - You have great pastors! I am sure they adore you too!

As for the cat, I have no good advice, considering I have never owned a cat.

Only one thing regarding the litter box...Don't move it around. If it's not where you put it, they'll just find somewhere else. Put it where you're going to keep it, and like Marcie said, just put her there often. She'll get it.

We need a litter box now. Our cat has decided she doesn't want to go outside much anymore.
