THE CRUISE!!!!
This was our ship, The Disney Wonder. The cruise was unlike any vacation I have ever experienced, it was AWESOME! There is nothing like going on a cruise. You are treated like royalty, you can't even imagine unless you have been on one. All I can say is...GO! Go on a cruise if you can. We had the time of our lives and are already dreaming of our next cruise!
John II during our mandatory safety drill before sailing away! We were cracking up at him. The rest of us had more normal looking life vests on. :o)The Disney Cruise was perfect for having children. We hardly saw Josiah on this part of our vacation :o)....he had a total blast! But, we made sure to have dinner togther each night, go to the Disney Shows together and we took him snorkeling with us. The food on a cruise is like 5 star dining and service every night....FOR FREE! :) They is also little "bars" all around the cruise that serve pizza, icecream, hamburgers, pop etc which is all free. They also have 24 hour free room service...hello! I think we ate something like every hour on the cruise. The had a wonderful "under the sea" inspired nursery for John II that we took him to 3 different times for 2-3 hours at a time, and he loved it. He got to run free and there was so much for him to do. Josiah's group was so great, like only Disney could do. They literally had activites he could participate in from 9am-1am! He did so many cool things. Although he said snorkeling was his favorite!
This is the day we went snorkeling. This is at Disney's own private island in the Bahamas, it was beautiful. The weather was pretty hot, but it was bearable. I loved snorkeling. John, Josiah and I all went and put the baby in the nursery for a few hours. We saw all kinds of cool fish and even some sunken disney treasure :). John was a great snorkeling coach and had us all going in no time. We were out there for a couple hours. We took some underwater pictures but I don't have those developed yet.
Another view of our ship from Disney's Island, Castaway Cay.
