MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE CAGLES!!

After we had finished decorating the tree, John wanted to take a nice picture of me and the boys. Sounds easy enough. Looks like it turned out pretty good too, huh? Well, it took about 20 pictures to get this good one! It was SO funny. We were all in position but John II kept looking down at the cat and/or the ornaments, anywhere but at the camera. So John would say "Hey buddy look at Dada". For some reason EVERY time (I'm not joking) John II would look up at the camera he would have a massive coughing fit! It got to the point where John would start to say "Hey Buddy" and Josiah and I would burst into laughter because we knew what was coming. Every single time! I was laughing so hard by the end I was in tears! Here are a few of those pictures for you to enjoy! I also put pictures of the boys decorating the tree below. :)
This one is my favorite. : Doesn't he look like he's singing like a rock star?

Checking to make sure he was alright after about 19 pictures of him coughing. :) Josiah is still in position hoping we can get that perfect shot soon!!!

Oh my goodness, that story cracks me up! I can totally see you laughing so hard you are crying.
Look forward to seeing you soon!!!
What patience your son has...a good trait to have! People think taking pictures is so easy...until you add in the age component! Have a wonderful Christmas. It is a wonderful Christmas picture.
Hilarious! And I would love to hear about how you met Wynonna Judd!
Sounds like our Christmas photo last year with my parents. We set up the timer, got Ellie to look up and every time just before the click Ellie would look down or at my dad who had just run over to get in position or the dog. Every time! So, she is looking down in that family photo! Oh, Well! And my mom, wanting to get the perfect shot, must have had us take like 50 pictures. Sienna was so done with it by the end!
We have many of those stories as well! One year, we were taking pictures out on Lake Sawyer and actually stopped after about 30 minutes took the kids to McDonald's and then tried again! Success came after about another 30 minutes. Lots of memories made!
Jess, those pictures and that story are too funny! I am sure Josiah was never like that. He has always posed for pictures. Oh don't you wish that every child could be like Josiah? HA HA I do!
