As I reflect on the story of Christmas, one verse has really jumped out to me this year and has become my "anthem". When the angel came to Mary and told her God had chosen her, and told her of His plan for her life, she was overwhelmed to say the least. She couldn't imagine why God would choose her, and His plan seemed too big to comprehend, too much for her. Sound familiar? :) But, although she was overwhelmed and a bit uncertain of it all, she ultimately surrenders to the call on her life and responds by saying......"Then Mary said, Behold, I am a handmaiden of the Lord, the Lord's servant, let it be done to me as you have said." Luke 1:38
