My joy.....
Josiah and Johnny. My little guys...I sure love these two!
Little hams! :)Funny story about Johnny....
He is my little future praise and worship leader! He is much more interested in music then Josiah was at this age...even though Josiah does love music now and would love to play the drums (free lessons Bryan??).
Johnny really feels music. You should see that kid play the air guitar! :) At 2 years old, he has the rockstar facial expressions and movements down pat! It's too funny. He has great natural rhythm and even his little singing voice is easy on the ears.
When we get in the car, Johnny always asks me to turn the music on first thing and even requests specific songs. He rocks out the entire car ride, he knows a lot of the words to the songs and he always has his air guitar on hand. Josiah usually beats out the drum part on whatever he can find, and Johnny tells me to hold a microphone. I can only imagine how silly this must look to people driving by, as they can only see me and my pretend microphone and not the rest of my "band" in the back seat. :)
Anyway, the cutest part is at the end of EVERY single song Johnny yells at the top of his lungs "Yeah Jesus!!!!!!!!!" Of coarse he then points to Josiah and I to yell it too. Hence, my future praise and worship leader. :)
Even if Johnny and I are singing the "ABC's" or "Row, Row, Row your boat"...often at the end he puts his hands up in the air and yells..."YEAH JESUS!!!!!!!!!" :)

How cute is that! I think Mattie and him might have that in common! So, I noticed you are calling him Johnny. Is that new or have you always called him that. I am so used to you referring to him as John II. Just curious? :)
LOL! I was totally about to write, "When did you start calling him Johnny"? Ha! That's cute! Yea Jesus!
OK..I'll settle the "Johnny" issue. :)
We have been calling him that for awhile now, my husband started calling him that when "Baby John" started sounding really silly....considering he is well past the baby stage! :)
Anywho....I just got tired of typing John II because it's not like we walk around calling him that...."Come here John II" :)
I love to see the kids at church who are dancing and raising their hands to worship music. You prove that a lot of it starts at home...Way to go!
I'll make sure to watch out for your "traveling" band when I am driving down the road. :)
Instead of Johnny you should start calling him John John... That is way more masculine than Johnny... :)

Thank you Rachel. :)
Justin, we are just hoping he will grow up to be an awesome world changer... just like Johnny Knoxville.
So that is why we started calling him that....we are speaking destiny and purpose over him. :)
I know what you mean! I have to play certain songs for Grace in the car as well. The Hillsongs kids worship CD is a must when we are in the car. As soon as Grace gets out though, I turn it off. I can only deal with "Let your light shine" so many times. At least she loves to sing and it keeps her occupied. Thanks for clearing up the Johnny thing. I was going to ask. By the way I think that it is great that you are speaking such destiny into his life. Maybe he too can have a hit show and do stupid things to himself and his friends. Anyway that comment made me laugh! :)
Cute pics Jess! I think it's great that he loves music! You know you're a great mom when you don't care how corny you look driving down the road singing into an invisible microphone! That is too funny!!
I want to join this band! I totally rock out in my car too but I don't have any back up musicians or singers. Tell Johnny I would love to play air guitar with him any time!!!!!! Cute pictures of the boys Jess.
So cute!!
Beautiful boys! Kids are such a joy in life! I cant wait to have my own. And for my opnion that doesnt count..I like Johnny :) And we will look forward to him changing the world in the opposite way that Johnny Knoxville is.
Lisa, I thought I looked SO cool driving down the road singing in my invisible microphone...now I know I look corny..dang. :)
Kelli, your opinion totally counts! :)
We like Johnny too. :)
I guess someone called my husband that when he was little and he liked it.
And yes, he is gonna change the world for God! :)
Oh!! And Laura! There is totally room for you in my band!! :)
Can you play air bass or maybe air keyboards?? Maybe sing a little harmony? :0)
what adorable little angels you have!
I am going to have to give you the same compliment I received once and this is the highest compliment you can receive: your kids are almost as cute as my kids! lol jk they are very cute and handsome and your hands are going to be full when they hit the dating years!
