Introducing Sergeant John Cagle!!
The word is out! :) For those of you who don't know.....John was promoted to sergeant at his department and offically starts tomorrow! This is such an honor for John and he is very humbled by it and very thankful. I, of coarse, am very very proud. It often takes officers years of trying to become a sergeant, and this was John's first attempt at it, so he is especially greatful and feels very honored for being chosen.
That's my sweetie....don't mess with him. :)In case you don't know what a sergeant does, they are basically resposible for a crew of police officers and half of the city, and at times the entire city. They are not dispatched to calls, they are the ones who oversee the officers that are.
There was a ceremony this week where the Mayor and Chief of Police offically promoted John and 2 others to sergeant. A few people who are close to John came and supported him, which was a total surprise to him.....he was very blessed. There were other things happening at the ceremony as well. Some brand new officers got sworn in, one officer retired after 33 years of service, and then the three new sergeants were promoted. John got a chance to speak, and he thanked the city and his department. Then he introduced me and thanked me and said "without you I would not be here." Awwwwwww.....what a guy! I was not expecting that. I really can't take ANY credit, but it was sure sweet of him to say that! He makes me look good :).
I am so proud of you John. You have worked so hard and have accomplished so much in your life at such a young age. You are an amazing man......WAY out of my league. :) Thank you for choosing me. Thank you for your commitment to me and our family. Thank you for putting God first, you are walking in His favor. I love you Sergeant Cagle :).

Congrats John! We are so proud of you as well! Good job.
What do the strips on your arm near your wrist represent?
Yeah! Way to go John! I think you are both wonderful and a great pair!
Mo...those little strips near his wrist each represent 3 years of service. You can see how long the guy on the end has been a police officer!
Congratulations! It is great to see a Godly man in the line of service, and obviously a man that God has his hand on!
Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. Life is good and God is even better. I'm looking forward to starting this new chapter in my life. And sweetie... you are the best! I love that you are my biggest fan. You are a huge support to me and a big part of my success. xoxoxox

The only thing that would make that picture better is if he was holding a pink bible!
