AMERICAN IDOL!!!
My series of questions on my minipoll asking "Are you normal?" are takin' a break for ....AMERICAN IDOL! From now until the end of the show, we will be voting for our favorite contestants! WooHoo! If we really wanna see who the true favorite is, don't vote more than once for the same person. But, you CAN vote for more then one person!
After each results show on Wednesday night, I will remove the person who's voted off from my poll and start the voting back at zero. Have fun! Be an American and VOTE! :)
We will get back to figuring out how normal we all are after American Idol is over. :) Hope you can wait until then.
By the way, I learned that I can stop by most of your homes with a good 15 minute warning..I'll keep that in mind!! :)

I thought Kelly was dry and Paris' song was a poor choice. Isn't "Memories" a song everyone used to make fun of? Chris rocked tonite! I do like Paris quite a lot, just not her song choice and I think Kelly is a little out of her league, but isn't she adorable?! :)
I am a natural. From the very beginning. I wanted Chris and Taylor to go far. And look where they are. I like Taylor because I thought he would be the underdog. And he just made me laugh. I really liked Chris because of the way he loves his family. And I think that last night Paula Abdul dressed Katharine. She didnt need to show off so much.
I don't live 15 minutes from you so I'll go ahead & say it--- I can't stand American Idol. Never have liked it & never will. sorry I think its a show that is fixed & lets be honest, only one Idol ever made something of HERself. Props to Kelly Clarkson!
So yeah, I'm not afraid. Besides, its not like I can actually watch TV anymore anyway!
I don't watch American Idol! There are really only 1 or two "realiy shows" that I can tolerate. ie: Super Nanny! She rocks! Plus, it makes me feel like I have good kids and that we're pretty good parents! LOL! Re: my house; normally 15 minutes would be plenty, but today you'd better give me a good 5 hour warning! Ha!
P.S. I LOVE Kelly Clarkson! I agree that she was the best of the Idol winners! Remind me to tell you of a cool article I read about her in Time magazine.

Karen K...I totally agree with you. I ADORE Kellie but she is WAY out of her league at this point...and yet, she is the only one who has never been in the bottom 3! People just love her. I think tonight might change that. I think Katharine and Paris have AMAZING voices....they are so talented and vocally skilled, but I don't think they have that "star factor" like Chris has....My bet is that he will win the whole thing. Amelia (so glad to hear from you!!), I agree with you too...I was a BIG fan of Taylor's right from the beginning...he was one of my faves because he was SO unique and I just love his personality! But, last night was a little rough for him....I think his days are numbered...I'm just not sure the American Idol stage is the best place for his sound and style. OK....and Paula Abdul....bless her heart...but, that woman is LOONEY!!! :)

As for you Idol haters... I use to hate it as well. But when you find that one person that you think is awesome you have to tune in every week to see how they do. Side note - Taylor is so flipping annoying I want to pluck my eyes out. He also has never been in the bottom 3 Jess.
This year its going to be a guy that wins it and will outshine Kelly Clarkson, because in the end the guys always beat the women in everything.

I can't go a week without American Idol...sick I know it! I love Paris, Taylor and Chris. But who I think is going to win is either Chris or Katharine...even though I don't understand why everyone loves Katharine, I don't think she is that great (but I think America loves her). I think Chris has been doing great lately, especially last night!!! I voted for Chris and Paris last night.
American Idol...I'm losing the love. I loved the first season and became a Kelly Clarkson fan. Amelia and I actually went to her first concert in Seattle. We felt like dorks sitting among squeeling teenagers. But, I have to admit, it was fun! I've watched this season, but I don't fret if I miss it. I think Kelly is an absolute doll! I think Katherine tries to be as "cute" as her but it just doesn't seem authentic! I think Chris has the most raw star talent. He's my vote for the next idol.

Im one of those McClees people. I am married to Bryan's bro Chris. Anywho thought I would leave a comment today instead of lurking.
I am not the hugest American Idol fan. What I like the most is the auditions and the finale. I get too bored watching all the in between stuff. ha!
This sounds like it will be fun. I think Chris is the Best!
My favorite is Chris also. I agree with Holly that Katharine tries a little too hard but I do appreciate how much her father loves to watch her sing.
