IT'S BEEN A GOOD WEEK IN THE LAND OF BLOG!!
Wow, we have welcomed a lot of new bloggers recently and I will personally introduce them each to you, but I MUST start with my husband!!!! WOOHOO!!
I can't tell you how excited I was when John said to me, "I think I'll start a blog that details the daily experiences of a police officer". YES!!! This will be so fun to read, and it will be a good outlet for him. I have visions of he and I, side by side on the couch with two laptops, sharing a soda, and blogging together. So romantic! OK, I am kidding about that vision but nevertheless I am excited to turn my big macho man into a computer nerd like me! So, please stop by his blog and welcome him. His first post is hysterical and yet a pretty typical day for him on the job! He is in my links, or you can just goto

Next, I would like to offically welcome one of my best friends, Danae, to blogging!! Check her out at http://the-kelly-family.blogspot.com/. She is precious and has a beautiful family that you can see great pictures of.
Then there is my dear friend, Crystal. Crystal has a very interesting life, and it will be fun to read her blog. Her husband is from South Africa, and they lived there together for the first part of their marriage and are still part owners of a safari there. I know, I have very cool friends. :) Drop by and say Hi to Crystal at http://www.burmanbits.blogspot.com/
Next is Karen Kelly, one of the three "Karen's" in my life! She is Danae's sister-in-law and just a super sweet person. She is married to a firefighter, so I am sure sure she will have some interesting stories to tell. You can check her out at http://kellyshere.blogspot.com/
Last but NOT least...Jim and Lynnette. Jim has been a long time friend of mine and Lynnette used to go to my church until Jim whisked her away :). Their love story is a beautiful one, and they JUST celebrated the birth of their first child. You can peak in on them and their new little one at http://cheesyfamily.blogspot.com/
All of you have a special place in my heart and life and I'm excited to stay even better connected through your blogs! Just be good bloggers now and try to post at least once a week! :) Sabrina has an "abandoned blog" list that you don't want to be on!! It's kinda like Santa's "naughty list". :) Love to you all!

Jess

You are such a welcoming person...God will continue to use your spirit of hospitality to the fullest! I would love to get together sometime for coffee or such. It is hard to think that we probably don't live that far away, yet I haven't seen you in years. Let's fix that, shall we?

Love ya
Rachel

I am going to spare everyone from having to read John's blog. Here's how John's blog will go:

Got out of bed
Ate a donut
Sat in a patrol car
Ate another donut
Got winded walking from car to station.
Ate another donut
Came home, went to bed, do the same thing tomorrow

Carpenters....WAY TOO FUNNY! Man, we miss that Carpenter humor in our lives!
Rachel, I would LOVE to get together.
Holly, I miss you and think of you often. We need to get together, it's been TOO long!!! I love you, and your life is not boring!! :) Just this morning I sat with some awesome women who's kids are grown and they all got teary saying how much they miss when their kids were little. It's a precious time. And as we all know, it goes WAY too fast. These moms all feel like their kids were just babies yesterday, and now they are all grown. :)

Whats the saying? "Long arm of the Law". I think they had to change that because of Cagle's T-Rex arms.

Cagle lost at Simon Says because Simon would say "Simon says Touch your shoulders." Cagle could never do it. =)
