Josiah is 13!!!!

Our Josiah is 13! I can't believe it. I have a TEENAGER! Here are some pictures from his birthday weekend.....
My mom takes all the grandkids to the Spaceneedle for lunch on their 13th birthday! This time I got to go along too, it was a very special time.


Then we were off to The Great Wolf Lodge!!! We took Josiah's very best friend since the first grade, Cameron, with us and we all had a total BLAST there! This was our 3rd time there and we just LOVE it. It is SO much fun. This was my first time getting to go on the water slides and Sophia's first time playing in the water. It was so great, we had the best time together as a family!

THE best water slide EVER!!!! The Howlin' Tornado...this ride is INSANE. But I LOVED it!!! I couldn't do it with my eyes open until my last few times on it, and I screamed like a little girl on this ride. I even lost my voice! John called me "Mary Murphy" for those of you "So You Think You Can Dance" fans!! LOL. This water slide has like a 15 foot free fall drop and then drops you into this "toliet bowl" where you go crazy fast and slide so far up the sides you think you are gonna flip over! And at night it's all pitch black except in the toliet bowl there is flashing colored lights...it is SO FUN...I have never seen anything like it! Josiah got a huge kick out of seeing me scream my head off! I love that it is a group ride. Everyone should go on this!!! SO FUN!

On the way home from The Great Wolf we picked up Josiah's other best friend, Kyle, for a sleepover at our house with a Chocolate Ganache Peppermint Cake made by Gram!

Josiah, we are SO proud of the young man you have become and are still becoming. You are such a joy to raise. You are so intelligent, fun, and responsible. Your Dad and I feel so very BLESSED that God gave you to us. We know that the sky is the limit for you, you can do anything you want! We also know that God has great plans for your life, and we are honored and humbled to get to help you along the way. You are very special. HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
