Halloween 2009!
**Disclaimer: For those who have been following my blog for years you may notice that Johnny has been Spiderman for 3 years now. LOL. But, before you label me as an ultra frugal mom who forces her kids to wear the same costume until it either falls apart or doesn't fit anymore...I promise that is not the case, this is actually what Johnny has wanted to be every year. Really! :-)
Spidey at school!

Johnny's special friend from school :-)

Friends!

Johnny and his teacher

Johnny's Kindergarten Class!

Josiah's costume. LOL! This kid SO has my sense of humor! He is such a jokester. He went trick-or-treating with a big group of friends from school, so we got a couple pics of him before he left.... :-)

Time for Trick-or-Treating!!

My Sweet Bunny. Can I just say how impossible it was to TRY and get whiskers painted on a barely 1 year old!!? :-)

My Girl :-)

A pretty successful night!!

I must say, I love Halloween. I know, I know...I am a Christian and I just said I love Halloween. But, here is what I love most about it....I love how your whole neighborhood opens it's doors to one another. How your neighborhood just comes alive and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Instead of being annoyed that someone is knocking on their door or just ignoring it all together, everyone actually greets you with a smile and even gives you treats! :-) I just love it, it feels so safe and fun being out at night and it's like you and your neighbors are all having this big party together. Happy Halloween! :-)

NOah was the same thing this year too! (Link from Legends of Zelda)
I was over the moon ok with doing a 2nd yr costume! ;)
But of course I confess to being the ultra frugal mom and I'm thinking its rubbing off! LOL
Marcie,
I will admit I was secretly SUPER happy (as was my budget) that he wanted to be Spiderman again for the 3rd year in a row!! LOL. I just didn't want anyone to think I was that mean to force him to wear it three years straight!! :-) But yes, it made the frugal mom in me very very happy. :-) Now if he is still trying to squeeze into that thing when he is 12, I will have to at least buy him a bigger size Spiderman. haha
And yes, you and Mary have both rubbed off on me. She put me through SCHOOL when I was there in June!! :-)
great pics!!! Sorry I have been sucking it up in blog land, but you and your fam all look great! Hope to see you soon!
I LOVE Josiahs costume, too funny. You have a very handsome spiderman and a beautiful little bunny!!!! I love halloween too, it's a fun holiday for everyone.
