Johnny's First Day of Kindergarten!!!

Johnny and his teacher

Today was the big day for Johnny! First Day of Kindergarten! Wow! It's such a special day. He is attending Kindergarten at the same private school that Josiah did 7 years ago, which is very special to us. Johnny has been SO excited for school to start and we are very excited for him. This is a big year for him full of exciting adventures at school. He also started soccer this week, which he is equally excited about. It is his 2nd year playing soccer. :-)

This is a BIG year for ALL 4 of our school age children! Not only do we have Johnny entering Kindergarten.....

Josiah is starting Junior High (WOW!!) and playing football for his school which we are very excited about. We are really enjoying watching his practices. He is also getting a full drum set this year (thanks to Grandma) after 2 years of playing drums in his elementary school band and he will get to start private lessons (again, thanks to Grandma!). He is playing drums in his junior high band as well this year. He is also thinking of running for an ASB office. We had Josiah's 7th grade orientation at his new school and that was very exciting for all of us! It's a very nice school and it just feels like the whole world is at these kids feet, the possibilities are endless....a truly exciting time.

Then Storm is starting her first year at a Private Arts Highschool(think FAME!) that she was accepted into for her drawing ability!! We are SO proud of her! She will be a 10th grader. She will be going to school with kids who all are very gifted in some form of the arts and are all very focused and driven. Very cool.

Last but not least.....Taylor is starting her SENIOR YEAR!!! WOW! We are SO excited for her, she has some great goals for the year and beyond. We are very proud of the young lady Taylor has grown into. We are excited to see what she does with her life. :-)

It is so fun to watch our kids all be at such milestones in their lives. We know the potential they each have for greatness and we hope they use it well and submit it to God's plan for their lives. And we pray each day that they stay on the straight and narrow path...the road less traveled.
