UPDATE!!! Finally :)

Wow, I can't believe it's been a month since my last post, not sure that's ever happened!

Well, as most of you know I have been very very sick with this pregnancy. It has literally been like having the flu for a month and a half. Now, although I have never been this sick with my previous pregnancies, let me tell you... I was still not "Andrea McClees sick"(that is a new phrase I coined for someone more sick in pregnancy than you can even imagine!!) Andrea threw up every day, like ALL day and could not even function on any level for MONTHS people...months! So, even at my very worst, I could think of Andrea and knew I still had something to be thankful for! :) Bless you Andrea!!

The last 2 days though I have felt so much better, I am really starting to feel human again! I feel like I have rejoined the land of the living. Today I am even on my desk top computer for the first time in well over a month, I have been LIVING on my couch and only using a laptop if I even felt up to that.

Saturday I will be in my 2nd trimester(woohoo!), and I am starting to deal with the more just "normal" things the last couple days....like feeling nauseous if I don't eat often enough, being very very tired, and that's about it! Yay!

Being so sick has caused me to put on a little more weight already then I would have liked!! :) I have been just laying on my butt for a month and a half now with no physical exercise and only craving CARBS!!! So, as you can imagine I have gained a little weight. :) And although I was so so sick, I only dry heaved all the time (too much info, sorry!)so ALL those carbs stayed with me. haha Well, I call pregnancy my "fat and happy" time anyway, I know I can lose it again when I really want to. Although it doesn't just fall off for me!! I had to work my rear off last time! Literally. :)

OK, so I know most of you are thinking "She MUST be having a girl" because this pregnancy has been so different then my others and I have two boys already. And I know most are hoping I will have a girl! :) Right Andrea, you know! :)

But, I am not sure if I am wanting a boy or a girl more...and I guess I am not dwelling on that too much until I know what I am having. I LOVE having boys and have had such amazing experinces with my two, and that is really all I know... so I can so see myself having another precious little boy. I love my little "Warriors" as we call them. I would be thrilled. And I also still have boy things I could use for the next baby.
On the other hand, as "unknown" as it is, I know I would be thrilled to have a little girl!! It would so different and yet I know it would be very special. And I could buy girl clothes! YAY! :)
So, either way I will be very happy. I just feel so very blessed to be carrying this precious life, it's an honor and I am thankful.

All our kids want a girl though, except for Johnny...he is convinced and will only believe that it's a baby brother! :) haha Johnny is so sweet though, he will sing a song to me and usually play an instrument of choice with his song, and tells me "I'm singing a song for your baby". :) He also already talks to the baby, and tickles my tummy and says "Tickle tickle baby". Too cute. He is so excited.

Yes, I am TOTALLY showing already. It's pretty funny. That was actually one of the very first things that clued me into the fact that maybe I was pregnant....my body wastes no time making room! When I was only 12 days pregnant, I sat down in church and my jeans were hurting my tummy, like they were all the sudden really tight when they were just fine the last time I wore them! I actually had to unbutton them while sitting! ONLY 12 DAYS PREGNANT!! :) So, that was one of the reasons why I knew so early that I was pregnant. On that same morning, I got up and went to the bathroon for the first time EVER during one of Pastor Steve's sermons. :)

Everything else in our lives is going good. Josiah is busy with track, math club, student council, band, church and his friends. Taylor is really adjusting well to life at a new school, has made some good friends, and is LOVING youthgroup. She just got back from an awesome youth conference and had an amazing experience. Johnny is as precious as ever, he is very funny and sweet. He LOVES school and church, and really enjoys other kids and his siblings. He is just about to wrap up his first year of preschool and next year gets to go to preschool 3 days a week, for 2.5 hours each day. He is so excited! John is doing really well at work, and having a good time, he is involved in many different aspects of the department and that gives him lots of opportunites to teach and use his leadership skills. Ministry is going great for me, Easter was AWERSOME and we got amazing feedback....it was really a very powerful day. We had two services this year for the first time.

Here are a couple recent pics to enjoy of the boys and I out on a date. I took them to a place where they got to design and make their own candles, then we went out to nice Thai dinner together, and then went and saw a family movie...it was a GREAT and very special night. :)

Yea! An update! Just for the record, I think you're having a boy. I'm kidding. I don't know anything when it comes to these things, except that I know that having a girl is a phenomenon that happens to other people(not to me!)...so maybe you ARE having a girl! Ha!

Good job on the update! I hope you are feeling better soon! I feel different with every pregnancy and we all know that I still only produce boys, so I don't buy into any of that stuff:-)

Thank you all for the sympathy and well wishes!! :)
Andrea, I know it's a tiny bit creepy right now but as the baby grows it will be cuter. :) You should do one, cause your baby would be much bigger and a little less "creepy" :).
I love it though, all the other ones just count the days, and this one is like a window into my belly! :)
Karon, you're funny...I am a pretty pudgy, not sure how cute it would be :) and I look about 5/6 months pregnant!!!! :)
I will get a picture soon, I promise. How bout this.....I'll do it when Andrea posts one!!! Although, she looks great...so maybe I don't want that. :)

I wrote you a huge long message and it deleted it for some reason! So, I totally remember you! I've seen you a few times at our church during the "one" conferences but I didn't think you'd remember me so I never said anything! It's so exciting to read your updates about how your pregnancy is going and compare to how mine is. It sounds like were pretty much in the same boat of the sickies and laying around the couch! I hope you start to feel better! Thanks for finding me on here!
