"The Best Birthday Ever!!!!!"

Those were Josiah's words about his birthday this year. :)

Josiah turned 10 last month and had an option for his birthday this year...he could have a party with a bunch of his friends at The Family Fun Center OR he could pick just one friend and we would spend a day at The Family Fun Center and then spend the night in the hotel there (with a pool of coarse!!!!). He choose the second option. We had the best time ever! It was truly fun for all of us! I was actually able to really enjoy Josiah and everything we did, because there was no stress for me! :) No party planning, kids to keep up after, messes to clean up, cake to order...I didn't even have to clean house cause we weren't there! It was great. :) We had a great time playing at the fun center...I played Lazer Tag twice with Josiah and his best buddy, Cameron. That was so much fun. John swam in the pool with the boys for hours. We played games in our hotel room, made late night snack runs and just had so much fun together. Josiah loved being at the hotel right there, it was fun to be able just to walk back from The Fun Center. I would highly recommend it. Josiah wants to do it again next year.

Happy Birthday Josiah. You are an amazing 10 year old. You are a natural leader, a great friend, an exceptional student and a respectful and polite young man. Where in the world did you come from!!?? :) We are honored and humbled to raise you. You are a child of God, destined for great things. You bear the mark of greatness, and Dad and I will do our best to help you on this great journey that is your life. We love you and are SO proud of you.

A quick funny about Josiah....he was teaching me the other day all about The Revolutionary War!! Did I mention he JUST turned 10....geez! :)
