SNOW DAYS!

Last week we had a couple snows days and we LOVED it. Although my husband still had to go to work... schools were closed and the rest of us were "snowed in" due to VERY ICY roads. It just wasn't really safe to be driving for those two days if you didn't have to so..we didn't! :) It was SO fun!!! I had SO much planned those two days...and I couldn't do any of it and it was GREAT! :) It really was totally what I needed. I needed life to just STOP and that is exactly what happened. For the majority of us around here life just came to a total stand still. So, the boys and I hunkered down at home, played in the snow, ate too much, watched TV, played games and RESTED. It was like a little vacation. Although we REALLY wished John could have been home with us but the police officers can't stay home! Although I'm sure some of you wish they would! :) But he was home the night it started and he took the boys sledding down the hill and they had a BLAST. Little John was fearless..it's a BIG hill!
