THE CONCERT!!!!
The concert was great, thank you for all the e-mails asking me how it went!
It was an intimate "coffee house" type setting, and we packed that little place with 109 women! It was a great time. We entertained and we ministered to the heart of women. God showed up and did His thing! He met with His women and ministered to the needs in their hearts like only He can. It was beautiful. Every performer blew me away. I don't know if I will ever get over the talent, skill and anointing that comes from our music team. I am so blessed to work with and have relationship with these people. I wish I had some pictures for you. It was decorated beautifully. The food was AWESOME. We had lots of fun together on stage doing fun and silly songs like "Man, I feel like a women". Then we each had an opportunity to minister a song from our heart, and it was awesome to see each person flow in their unique gifting, style and calling. Tana and Pastor Steve wrapped it all up at the end, and I was just as blessed, entertained and ministered to as anyone in the audience. It was my first time being "in charge" of the music part of things, but I think it went well and I learned a lot. I'm ready for next year!! :o) I read a thought today that I wanted to share....."The reward of God's favor on a heart wholly devoted to Him is beyond our imagination. Once you walk and live in the power of His tangible presence, anything other than living in Him does not even come close to bringing satisfaction" - Darlene Zschech She goes on to say, "Walking with Jesus is the greatest privilege of my life-never alone, abiding in Him, and learning to rest in the shadow of His wings". I couldn't agree more! Here is a little scripture to encourage each of you as you step out in the things God is calling you to...."So, here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life-your sleeping, eating, going to work, and walking around life-and place it before God as an offering". Romans 12:1 Message Bible. That is what it's all about. Beautiful.
